1. I need to find a directory or index, by state, of all public and/or
undeveloped oceanfront property in the coastal states of the USA, and
the U.S. Virgin Islands. The results of your findings may include land
no more than 10 miles from the coast. Also please provide weblinks to
crime rate and pollution statistics for areas in the immediate
vicinities of these parcels of land.
2. I need to find a directory or index, by state, of all public and/or
undeveloped lakefront property in the USA. The results of your
findings may include land no more than 0.5 mi from the lake shore.
This inquiry pertains to all "major" lakes (e.g. Lake Havasu,
Arizona). You may narrow your search to the fifteen (15) largest lakes
in the US.
I expect requests for clarifications, as my inquiries are pretty vague. |

Talk to me guys - how much do you deem to be a worthy amount for
research of this area and depth?

virtuo-ga,
I couldn't begin to put a price tag on this question because I really
have no idea what you're looking for.
Unless you can substantially clarify your question, I'd be quite
surprised if a researcher took up trying to research it for you, even
if you upped the price quite a bit.
Just my two cents...

Alright, disregard my original question. What I think I'm looking for
are "unclaimed" tracts of land along the coast of prime vacation
states such as California (particularly all coastline north of San
Francisco), Oregon, southeastern Texas, Florida, South Carolina, North
Carolina, and Virginia. Also included in this territorial search would
be some of the lesser-developed islands in the Atlantic Ocean near
Florida, e.g. U.S. Virgin Islands, Bahamas, etc.
I've done a few search strings and seen state government websites that
claim to have knowledge of millions and some billions of dollars worth
of unclaimed property in its territorial domain. But I cannot decipher
from any posted data if said quantities of property are ocean- or
lake-front.
Or perhaps I'm more than several decades behind the times... and every
stitch of land on the water in the aforementioned areas have been
claimed.
