When using Microsoft word is it possable to create a text box then fix it in a page so that it will not move if I enter some thing in a page above it? |

Yes! Create a Table to create 'a text box' then if you turn Inset OFF you will be able to type above the Table without displacing it. Of course, you will replace any text or spaces as necessary to accommodate the typing. |

From your Drawing tools, you can select the Text Box tool and create a text box on the Microsoft word file. Thereafter, using your mouse, you can place it anywhere on the page. Keep the text box selected i.e. highlighted. Now from Format menu, select Text Box. Click the Layout tab, and then click Advanced. On the Picture Position tab, clear the Move object with text and Lock anchor check boxes. And, now if you type anything on this page above the text box, it wont move at all. -Ambrish |
