I have to tow a pick-up truck? A 2005 Avalanche 1500. Budget - U-Haul - states - trailers are not big enough - Gross weight to high. Need to find out about a tow bar and where to get one? Stuck in Kennesaw, Georgia? |

If it has an automatic transmission, check out with someone who knows how to put in neutral so that the transmission is disengaged - if possible. I know someone who towed a Cherokee behind their mobile home, and discovered that they should have shifted into neutral a different way than what they were doing - out of drive or reverse, I don't know. Of course, an entirely different vehicle, but it was a strain on the transmission to be running all the time. |
