My calendar has gone from the navigation paqne in Outlook 2003, and
it's been replaced by a link to "Open a Shared Calendar" (which I
don't want). I can see my calendar, though, if I open it in a new
window. How do I get my calendar back in the main navigation pane.

Try this and let me know if it solves your problem:

In Outlook, at the bottom of the navigation pane, click the little
arrow to open. Then click "Navigation Pane Options". When the little
opens, make sure Calendar is checked.

Try the same navigation pane options, and try manually adding your
calendar again, under "Add/Remove Buttons"
