I would like to know the difference between a Petrophysicist, a
Geologist, and a Geophysicist. This is in the context of the oil and
gas business. Core functions and core responsibilities of each role
would be helpful as well as type of educational requirements.

On the Petrophysics topic. I dont really feel like you gave me a
great source of what a petrophysicist does. I have looked around on
google searches and have been unsucessful which is why I asked the
question in the first place. I am not really looking for a one line
blurb of what they do (i already know that) followed by a product
somebody is trying to sell to a petrophysicist. I want something that
is more educational, maybe like examples of what they do on a day to
day basis and what kind of problems/issues they try to solve. thanks.

Hi!

I was able to find a pretty good article on what a Petrophysicist
really does. Check out the link below. I think you are going to like
it since it gives a general overview but goes into specifics as well.
The website requires registration but it is free and easy to do so.

I hope this will be of help to you.
