I am looking specifically for the hitching post that is at the
intersection of 6th and D street South East Washington DC.  I know
that there is a hitching post near the New York Prebystain church in
DC but that is not what I am looking for.  All I really want is a
photograph of the hitching post at 6th and D street if that is
possible.

Yes I am looking for a current photo.  Since I last wrote the
paragraph I discovered that the cross street was wrong actually the
hitching post is at 6th and South Carolina. SE.  If you can find me a
old picture that would be fine too.  You will get the money if you can
find the picture and recieve a bonus if you can find me an article
about the hitching post at 6th and South Carolina. Something maybe
like if or when it was written about in a newspaper.

Recently there was another question about a hitching post in DC, but I
cannot find it now.  A photo was posted that showed it with a metal
plate inscribed with "Abraham Lincoln" (and maybe a date).  Could this
be what you are looking for?.
