I'd recommend Bally's. It's a nice hotel, not extravagant, but very
nice. It's perfectly located in the middle of the strip and it usually
has reasonable rates. Rates fluctuate based on season, day of week,
capacity, so you should just try checking out orbitz.com and
hotels.com to see who is offering the best current rates and then you
can read reviews at tripadvisor.com.

I depends directly on what type of experience you are seeking and what
time periods you are searching. Midweek, the rates are much softer
than during the weekend and again, this too depends on the season you
search.

Regarding experience you seek, there is a multitude of flavors,
colors, activities, restaurants, etc., that can fill your craving for
all that you seek.

Monte Carlo is an excellent property towards the southern end of the
strip - very reasonably priced, new expansions to their pools, and
clean, classy rooms to attract their customers.

Treasure Island is comparable to Monte Carlo in price and it is closer
to the center strip - Recently renovated with chic restaurants to
dazzle the taste buds.

Paris is a wonderful jewel of a property with cozy restaurants, a new
show, and also located in the middle of the strip. Prices, again, are
comparable to above mentioned properties. Bonus, have lunch outside
at Mon Ami Gabi restaurant. On a spring or fall afternoon, there is
no greater splendor while dining al fresco in Las Vegas.

I can go on and on about each property - Las Vegas has something for
everyone and with out digging you can find that perfect niche just for
you.

$100-150/night...I need to know when to give you a decent answer.
There are MANY options in this price range. If I can't answer it I can
find someone. Between me and my circle of friends, we visit Vegas
about 15 times a year.

I actually prefer offstrip because of the extraordinary price of most
strip hotels. Offstrip the lower end gamblers are also treated
better. I had been to Vegas twice before I was invited to a Super
Bowl VIP party at an offstrip hotel. 3 free nights too so I'm doing
something right.
