I'm looking to see if there's a Canadian or UK equivalent of the US
Calvert school (http://www.calvertschool.org). Specifically I'm
looking for:

- distance education home schooling program
- secular/non-religious
- accredited preferred

I like the look of Calvert because it provides both curriculum and
consumable supplies all in one package, however it is very US centric,
so I'd like some alternatives.

Dear CKClark,

Here are several organisations/service providers. Please note, that
the term "accredited" is problematic here: the US Dept. of Education
will not accredit foreign programmes (and also has no authority to do
so). These programmes are approved by their own ministry of education.

If I understood correctly, it is extremely difficult to home-school a
child under the age of 10 in the UK, which is the reason you only have
secondary UK schools (in the UK, secondary in this case = 10-17/18, or
4-12).
