My roommate is having difficulty getting through the background check
to be hired by her new company because a community she worked with
disputes her dates of working there in the past. They have her
leaving in January 2004 where she believes it was more like
October/November. The confusion is that the community (Korman
Community here in Delaware) was sold right around January. Is there
any way to trace her employment through the sale (who was it sold to?)
She is unable to get any dates- only her W-2 form which does not
provide specific dates. She needs proof and has no where to turn.

It seems it should be pretty obvious from her 2004 W-2 whether she got
paid for only one month of the year, or for close to a full year.
That is, whether she left in January 2004 or much later in the year.

Has she looked at the figure with that in mind?

As for the apartment complex itself, it's not clear to me what you're
asking. What sort of information are you hoping to receive from the
Google Answers research team?

chris...

I'm also puzzled about why it wouldn't be easier to look at
paystubs or a checkbook record, or, if necessary, actual
copies of the checks from her bank in order to verify her
last deposit from whoever paid her after the community was
sold.
