No, they will not charge you. You have illegally downloaded the copy,
and although you will most likely not get caught, they will not charge
you.

However, since it is a beta product, you may be paying a price due to
its unstableness.

Office 2007 Beta 2 has been available from
http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview for some time now. It's quite
possible that this copy is NOT illegal. If you have obtained it from
this site, the following applies:

"All 2007 Microsoft Office system Beta 2 software has an expiration
date of February 1, 2007. After expiration, 2007 Microsoft Office
system Beta 2 will continue to work in a reduced functionality mode
that limits your options and operations."

You can download it legally at
http://www.microsoft.com/office/preview/beta/getthebeta.mspx.

Downloading the Beta is not illegal from the Microsoft website. Its
free of charge but it wont fully function after Febuary 2007. If it
was illegal (which its not)why would Microsoft make it available and
advertise it on their own site in the way they have done?

After February 2007, Microsoft will give you an option (through the
Office software) of upgrading to a fully functional version. In the
meantime, the program will render itself totally useless. If you
downloaded the leaked beta, Microsoft will never charge you or stop
the program from working. If you downloaded the public beta, the above
will occur.
