I know google has a searchable archive of usenet news grps going back
to the start. This concerns a post that was made in
alt.folklore.ghost-stories around 1993 - 1996 time frame. The post was
by an american soldier in Germany who was staying at a hotel in
Germany with his wife and baby. His baby started to cry and was crying
for awhile. After awhile they heard a noise outside and looked out to
see a wolf like animal standing on its hind legs. It stood there on
its hind legs for awhile listneing to the baby crying. I think it also
walked around a bit on its legs. He thought it was strange for it to
walk like that and he thought it looked unusal, but did look like a
fox or wolf. That is all I can remember of the story.
