Dear TonyCzar,
No problem. Before that, I'd like to let you know, that Wikipedia has
its own rules on the type of articles that are worthy of being written
there.
(1) I can't just add, for example, an article about
"politicalguru-ga", as important as I am in the GA universe: if it is
a person, for example, it should be an important person and the
article shouldn't be like a PR release: also things that the person
might rather hide (but are relevant to an encyclopaedia) would appear.
They usually rather not enter artiles about products, unless these
products have some sort of social or technological/scientific
importance. Again, unappealing sides of the product may (or even
should) appear - the article should not be a PR release but an
impartial review.
(2) Because it is open for editing, even if you ask for someone to
write the article for you, this doesn't mean that the article would
not be worked over (again and again) by others, and might change
because of that. IT might be even deleted, if it doesn't match the
standards mentioned in section A.
Option A (free)
--------
Option A, the free option, is to write it yourself (on Wikipedia), or
ask someone else on Wikipedia to do it.
If you want to do it yourself, just register as a Wikipedia user, and
start writing the article. Nelson's links might prove useful here, and
I copy them only for your convenience:

If you want someone else to do it, Wikipedia has also a page where you
can request a new article to be written. Since you haven't said the
topic, this is the main page of requests. You have to find here the
category and subcategory that would best fit your request, and enter
your request there:

Option B - for a fee
--------
There are several ways to find someone discreet who'd write the
article for you. There are several message boards, where
writers-for-a-fee hang out. You can post your request and ask them to
send their proposals for a price, or find someone suitable according
to their description there, and ask them to do it.

Option III (very costly - but also the most professional)
----------
Find someone who's considered one of the top experts in the field, and
ask them to compose such an article for you. Since I don't know what
field it is, I cannot help you here further, but if you know a little
about the area, you might also know who are its "hotshots".
A real expert in this field who'd write something would cost you much,
be prepared.
I hope this answers your question. Please contact me if you need any
clarification on this answer before you rate it. |
