Why would'nt anyone try to answer question #734165?

I noticed that your question 734165 just expired, unanswered.

 I did look at it briefly, some time ago, and the reasons I passed 
probably apply as to other researchers who do cater to technical question,
as well:

  It is combination of low price and expected amount of time it would take
  to satisfy the asker.

  If you would say: "Can you recommend a book (on a certain level) on
  on combustion process in diesel and gas engines .. which ..."

 you may have gotten an answer (few relevant links).

   Your question created impression that you expect researcher to compile and
   type custom report (with equation and formulas...) ..
 
   which you will then subject to detailed critique and series of RFCs.
   
   Each question represents certain risk for a researcher.

   In your case, the risk looked high and the possible reward low.

 Moreover it was not clear why a person with expertise in the both fields
would not just type into amazon.com search box this
