I came across a site that could search the internet for an image that
would match an image that you could download (or upload) from your
computer.   I have an image but I don't know where it came from.   Do
you know of such a search engine (or program)?

On Google you can search for images, also advanced searches. You can
download the images by right clicking on them then pick your option.
The images have their web site address under them.
I don't know about image matching to an image that you already have,
apart from searching the subject yourself and looking for that image.
