Is anyone aware of a device that you can attach to a television or a television that you can purchase with a feature that gradually introduces sound when a television is turned on, rather than just blasts the sound out at a default volume or volume at which the tv was set to when switched off? This is in relation to people with epilepsy who are startled by sudden loud noises which can cause a seizure. |

I have never heard of this kind of thing on a television set, but there are auxiliary audio devices that have volume ramp-up features. |

What make and model television do you have? Are you using cable, satellite, or over the air? If you use cable do you use a cable box? There are devices that go in-line between the tuner (Cable box, satellite, VCR) and the TV and some TVs have this feature built into it already. |
