I purchased a refurbished D850GB motherboard from an online company. 
They advertised it as not having the processor retention mechanism,
AGP retention mechanism and CRIMMs.  I bought it thinking it would be
easy to find those parts but have been unable to do so.  Can you tell
me where I can purchase these parts (particularily the retention
mechanisms).

The processor retention mechanism consists of two plastic brackets
which are screwed down to the motherboard.  They form a frame which
the CPU fits into.

Thanks for the suggestion.  I checked it out and all of their parts
were for older hardware.  The D850GB is a Pentium 4 socket 423
motherboard which was discontinued about 6 months ago.

If you mean "processor retention mechanism" (the M-shaped metal piece
that holds the heatsink/fan to the processor) then I have one side. :)
If you can find the other side, then great. Otherwise I'll bug my
contacts to see whether they have the other side :)

If you mean "AGP Retention Mechanism" (black plastic piece that fits
over the AGP slot) then you don't really need it. But if you really
want it I have one.

I also have tons of CRIMMs :)

Oh.. those... black plastic with holes, right ? don't think I have any
of those. Will look and get back to you.
