The education system of most countries is different from the U.S.
system, e.g. there are no high schools and the like. What kind of data
would you accept instead?

According to the U.S. Census Bureau , the high school graduation rate is 85%.

Excerpt:

?There are nearly 73-million students at all levels of schooling
across the U.S., both public and private -- some 39- million from
kindergarten through eighth grade, about 16.5- million in high school
and another 17.5-million in college. High school graduation rates have
grown steadily through the years. In 1990, about 75 percent of the
adult population had a high school diploma. Now, that figure is more
than 85 percent.?
