Please help.......

I have an appointment with american consulate in Toronto at 10 AM June
20, 2006- Tuesday ( for stamping my h1b)

(FYI: I am from India and I have a Masters Degree from US)

Generally( if everything goes fine), they return the passport back the
next day around 3 or 4 PM.

As per this site, http://www.amcits.com/toronto.asp
the consulate is closed on wednesdays- after 11 am.

My question is, when they would return my passport?

In other words,

is the consulate is just closed for appointments and they still issue
the passport at 3 or 4 PM on wednesdays?

or, do they give back all the passports before 11 AM?

or, they will give the passport only on Thursday?

or...any other...option?

Please suggest, as I  need to book for the flight tickets immedietly.

***IMPORTANT PS:
I called the consulate people, and they give a constant answer
that it will take 3 days and I will get the passport only on
friday..as they consider the worst option.

I want to hear any other different answer ..related to the best outcome..please..

Are you booking the flight immediately or are you flying out
immediately?  Do you actually need the visa in order to book the
flight?

By the way, I have no idea what amcits.com is supposed to be.  The
consulate's web site is at http://toronto.usconsulate.gov/

I live in US right now. I need to book my flight tickets earlier in
order get flight deals. I want to make sure, when my return flight
should be.
( wednesday or thursday ..according to the answer to my question)
