The site www.brilliantprints.com.au displays perfectly in IE. However the menu system is broken when displayed in Firefox. It displays unwanted white space and all menu items as links (rather than drop-down menus) As far as I can tell its because I've used two duplicate div id's (chromemenu) for each line of the green menu navigation bar. I'm looking for someone who can give me enough assistance to fix the menu-bar so it displays perfectly in FireFox. I don't need complete code - would be happy even with enough of an explanation to allow me to make the changes myself. The answer use classes instead is not sufficient :-) Thanks Dylan |

Unfortunately, I'm the messenger who brings bad news. I just tested the site in Opera, just out of curiosity. And it looks even worse than in Firefox (which I also tested). That's a very bad sign. The code seems to be seriously flawed, I'm afraid. Scriptor |

I realise in retrospect that I benefited from some loose validation in IE to make it work. However in validating the page at w3.org the only major validation error seems relate to the duplicate id tag - so I'm hoping that fixing that will minimise the cross-browser differences. Dylan |
