Use Firefox which is less dangerous then Internet Explorer. There is a version available for Windows. To be safer from getting hacked in the future upgrade to one of the current Linux desktops which don't get viruses from clicking on a hotlink or opening an email attachment. Dell is selling a Linux Desktop the link for which is buried on their web site. http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/ http://www.ximian.com/ http://www.novell.com/linux/ http://linux.dell.com/desktops.shtml |

brontebiker, Hijacking occures when spyware corrupts your windows registry. The easiest way to get your homepage back is to download and run http://www.majorgeeks.com/downloadget.php?id=3155&file=10&evp=3304750663b552982a8baee6434cfc13 . It is freeware and is one of the best programs out at correcting Hijacks. If that does not do the trick contact me and I will be more than happy to help you. |
