I have a boat and am frequently out on Massachusetts bay. My cellular service (nextel) often has no service..What cellular company, based on antenna placement and strength of signal, has the strongest reception signal on the ocean on a line from 3-4 miles off the coast of Gloucester, MA down to Plymouth, MA? |

My Motorola Startac 7868 on Verizon consistently works perfectly over much of Rhode Island Sound from Point Judith to Block Island while my Motorola V-120 barely functions at the end of the dock. A good part of cellular function is the phone and the Startac 7868 has never failed. From waaaay out in the Nevada desert (where four other phones on three different systems didn't work) to Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and a dozen cities in between, the 7868 works flawlessly. Problem is you can't activate one anymore. I tried. |
