I am looking for a matchmaking service in Long Island, near or around
Long Beach, NY.  I am a 29 year old professional, attractive female
and I have tried online dating (match.com, lava life, nerve, etc?) and
have not been satisfied with the caliber of men I have met on these
sites.  I also have had many male friends admit that sometimes they
use these internet sites much like they were at a bar and do not take
this online dating that seriously. I am looking for something a little
more serious and confidential and I?m willing to pay for it.

I have researched these matchmaking services and the ones I have found
in NYC seem very intimidating based on what they say their clients
are, such as ?celebrities, high profile executives?, etc?

I am a professional and attractive and looking for the same, however I
am still not interested in having a relationship with a celebrity or a
?high profile executive?. I am looking for a relationship with a
?normal?, down to earth male.

I have heard of ?it?s just lunch? and ?great expectations?, but have
done some research on consumer affairs and there are a few law suits
against these companies for no delivering on their promises.  Has
anyone on LI had any success with either or these sites or do you have
any other recommendations?
