I am seeking the correct Yiddush word meaning "confuse".........
I believe it is " ibberbotel" or possibly "ubberbotel"

According to the Koshernosh dictionary (that also enables you to hear
to words as pronounced):
Tsedreyt  = Confuzed, dizzy  
Farchadat = Confused,distracted, dysfunctional   
Farmisht  = Confused, dysfunctional   
Tsetumult = Confused, bewildered

Confuse (Mixed Up)= Tsemishn [Tseh-Meesh-N]

As well as those dictionaries, I consulted with a Yiddish speaker I

It crossed my mind that this could be "uber/iber" and "butel" (=. And
guess what? :-)
