Question ID: 736986
OS: Windows XP MCE 2005
Graphics: ATI PCIE X800XT
Displays: DLP Projector Infocus 800x600, LCD Planar 1280x1024

Hi,

I use the projector at nights and the LCD during the day. To do this I
enable/disable them using the display properties of windows. The
problem is that I'm to lazzy to change from the projector to lcd
before turning it off and end up having to do it during the day just
to open the display properties.

What I need is a way to do this with some shorcut on the keyboard
without needing to turn the monitor on. Something like the hotkeys
that most laptops have to altername display modes from Monitor,
External Display, Dual Mode.

Please note that a simple alternative is having both monitor on at all
times with the LCD as primary and using the projector only with MCE
Shell on. But I've tried that and I didn't like it too much.

Thank you
Mike

I know it's kind of obvious but have you tried using the Hotkey
feature within the ATI control center?

Actually that's exactly the type of feature I was looking for :) I
also wanted to test google Answers :) Thank you ...

I still have to play more with it becasu it changes from one display
to the other but not the resolutions ... but that's really a minor
annoyance :)
