We plan to build a house in Sedona, AZ. We have a question about what type of windows to install. My questions are: 1. Are roll out windows best, or sliding windows from left to right, or conventional windows that raise up or down? 2. We have beautiful views and need to install windows that do not obstruct our view, but will give us ventilation if opened. 3. Would it be okay to have stationery windows at the top and one of the open style of windows at the bottom, will that let in enough air from the outside? 4. Which type window is best for ventilation? Does the roll out windows let in as much fresh air as the other windows? 5. We would like to purchase windows that are wood inside and alumnium outside. We understand wood windows are very expensive. Does anyone know where we can get nice wood windows with aluminium on the outside at a reasonable price? The SW sun is hard on materials. Thanks for your help. |
