I'm looking for some of the history of the ancient Kush empire and its
interactions with ancient Egypt. I would like  some idea of what it
was like to live in those times. What was eaten? How was food
gathered/grown/hunted? Was there a military? What weapons were used?
What role did merchants play? Poets? Who did the monarchs interact
with? How did they rule? Also, anything that could be used to help me
visualize life back then would be greatly appreciated.
