Can anyone derive the value of "Pi" using the the dissected cube puzzle "Soma".

Not very accurately.  Just rotate one piece around a point, measure
the circumferance of the circle and divide it by the diameter.
Presto!  3.14159...

(Well, you may be lucky to get a result between 3.10 and 3.20.)

I am thinking there must be some axiom of combinatorics related to pi
that could bring it together.
