Hi, Are you looking for the Xbox 360 core (without the hard drive)?
Would a middle-man supplier be sufficient if the price were under
$300? Also, is dropshipment an absolute requirement?

I have a couple of e-mails out to wholesale dropshippers. $200 is the
max for any question. Another researcher might be able to locate a
supplier faster than me and the question remains open.

Dear Milan,

Could you please explain what you mean by the fact that all you can
find are "middle man"? Most wholesale businesses go-between the
retailer and the manufacturer. I have found no evidence that you can
do it otherwise with xbox.

In addition, do you have tax-ID?

$200 (for this question) + $300 = $500... can you not find the XBox for $500?

Fair enough. I don't tend to think in terms of adding middle men to a
transaction... perhaps the world needs more middle men :)

The 'wholesales' costs you are seeing at higher than retail are
probably because with new high-demand products like these, a lot of
retailers will sell at a loss. So they may be paying $300 a unit, and
selling for $280. The reason for this is that when people buy a unit
like this, they are also going to buy accessories (games, cables,
controllers etc) which are all sold at full retail price with a high
margin.

For a retailer, getting someone in the door to buy a product is half
the challenge. They will take a loss on one product to make gains on
others.

First of all there isnt much mark up on these units anyway ..regarless
of supply & demand. i was in purchasing for Cirtuitcity, & we used to
buy PS2's for $194 & sell them for $199. Unless, u sign a deal with
Microsoft themselves as a dist. there are only 10 X-box dist. in the
country. I have the contact info for all 10.
i dont know how this works .. but i want to answer your question with
the 10 distrubutors.

iam new to google answers .. how do i get paid ??
