I have a long lost song that I would greatly appreciate finding. I
recorded it on an old tape when I was just a kid. From my research and
my own memory, I'm almost positive that I recorded it during the
summer of either 1990 or 1991. "Love at first sight" by Styx, "Place
in this world" by Michael W. Smith, and, "Starting all over again" by
Hall & Oates were big songs that summer. I recorded the song onto Mp3
as well incase anyone is interested. The song is sang by a female
singer or group. I have talked to one other person online that has
heard the song, so it had to be played nationally. The song is
approximately 4 minutes long. Here are the lyrics.

Verse 1

So many things were never said,
before the summer came to an end.
Now there's nothing but the wind swept sand,
and the rising tide.
I want it like it used to be.
I want to hold you so desperately, baby.
If only I could turn back time,
you'd still be mine.

Chorus

I see you in the sunrise.
Your kiss is on the wind.
I hear the echoes of our desire,
in the morning light.
I feel you in the sunrise.
Your warmth is on my skin.
And I will always hold you close,
in the morning light of the sunrise.

Verse 2

I find your footsteps everywhere.
Where they lead, I will find you there.
And the seasons that forever change,
will lead you back.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge

I try so hard to forget you and me.
I close my eyes and you're all that I see.
Tears that fall through my hands,
are lost in the sand like sweet memories
that wash to the sea.
(Short Instrumental)

Repeat Chorus x2

Also, this song does indeed exist. This is not a hoax. The song is
evidently very rare because I have NEVER heard it since. Apparently it
was only played for a short while and then disappeared. I have done
some research on my own and I can not find it on any lyrics sites on
the web. This is not your ordinary song search, hence my list price.

Here is a link to the song clip. It cuts out for a few seconds during
the first chorus because the tape was old that I recorded it from.
Hope this helps people find it.

After doing some more research, I'm nearly 100% sure that I recorded
the song during the summer of 1991. I'll update further if I find
anything else.

I am canceling this question because I found it. =)
The song is by The Triplets from their album "Thicker than Water".
The song was indeed popular for a short time during 1991 when the
album debuted. They had a sound very similar to Belinda Carlisle. It's
a shame they weren't well received. I'm quite surprised I found them.
Only by searching through endless Billboard charts did I come across
it.
