How many people from New Orleans moved to Boston after Hurricane Katrina? I remember hearing news that Boston offered to accept ?x-amount? of people in the wake of the storm, along with several other cities/states. I remember Texas and Michigan being included on that list as well. However, I cannot find this data anywhere on the web. What were Boston's specific contributions to the hurricane relief effort? This information can pertain to Boston's city and state governments, local businesses/corporations, and private contributions. Whatever information is available would be fantastic. What other connections does Boston have with New Orleans and Hurricane Katrina? I'm hoping your advanced searching capabilities will provide some interesting connections. Thanks for your help! :-) |
