Hi, I wanted to apply for H1B Visa for 2007. I want to now 1. I dont have an US Employer now. a) What will be the time period when I should get an employer b) how to make sure the employer will have good value with US Immigration,so that my Visa to successful 2. Best time to get my documents filled so that employer can apply in April 1, 2007. 3. The key benefits which I should negotiate for me & family(wife and 1 kid) 4. The average salary range for software professionals in Java/J2EE for more than 5 years. 5. Any particular certification or course which will add value to my H1B case. Thanks, Ganesh |

Greetings, This is just a free comment, not an answer to your question, which only a G-A Researcher can post - one with a blue name. This is the site of the US Citizenship and Immigration Service with the FAQs relative to H1B visas: http://www.uscis.gov/graphics/howdoi/h1b.htm As you will see: "H-1B status requires a sponsoring U.S. employer." Because of the limit on the number of H1B visas issued each year, it is sensible to get started early and have the employer making the application early in the year. I don't know if applications for 2007 can be submitted in 2006. Just a bit of information to start. I hope that someone can provide you more. |
