I'm interested in getting some shirts printed/manufactured but I want a very particular type of screen printing. I am interested in my design extending the entire length of the t-shirt (from the top collar to the bottom hem & armpit to armpit). Most of the local screen printers (Miami, Fl.) I have contacted have advised me that the maximum size for a "screen-print screen" would be somewhere around 14 inches Width x 16 inches length and that I would need to have my design screen printed on a "ROLL" of material and THEN have the t-shirts manufactured to my specifications. By quickly researching online I found that some suppliers of screen-printers provide screens with much larger dimensions than 14" x 16". here are a few links of exactly the style & type of shirts I am looking to have produced: - http://teenytee.com/item.html?PRID=1472158 - http://teenytee.com/item.html?PRID=1489037 The questions I would like answered are: 1. What is the exact definitive process for creating a t-shirt such as the one's listed on the link above? Do I really have to have them manufactured? Or can a larger format screen-print be used to screen print the t-shirts? 2. What companies provide this type of large format, full-bleed screen-printing/manufacturing service for t-shirts? (Preferably local to Miami, FL but I would be willing to deal with anyone) |
