Question ID: 738438
I'm looking for the annual total number of live births in the USA for
each year, 2000 through 2005. For example, "in 2003, there were
4,089,950 live births in the United States" according to the March of
Dimes website:
Now I just need this same statistic for 2000, 2001, 2004,and 2005.

I have located the number of live births for all the years, with the
exception of 2005. This data has not yet been released. Would the
information I have suffice as an answer to your question?

Best regards,

Hi pazzolina,

The following is the result of my research for the number of live
births in the United States for the requested years.

"In 2000, a total of 4,064,948 live births occurred among all races..."

"According to the national birth report for 2001, there were 4,025,933
live births in the US."

There were 4,021,726 live births in 2002, essentially unchanged from 2001.

4.1 million

"There were 4.1 million births in 2004..."

The above figure is from October 2004 - October 2005.

Search criteria:
"4000000..4500000 live births" <year>

I hope this is helpful. If you have any questions regarding my answer
please don?t hesitate to ask before rating.

Best regards,
