Hello bythehour-ga,

Sea & Ski suntan products are still around. Since 2003 they have been
owned by Radiant Technologies, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of the
holding company, Pathfinder Management Inc. The company was sold
multiple times in the past ten years. I?ve included links to help you
trace it?s journey.

I hope this answers your question about what happened to Sea & Ski.
Please don?t hesitate to ask for clarification if you need additional
information.

All the best.

Sea & Ski faces relaunch with new formula, strategy
Drug Store News, May 25, 1998

It hasn't received much attention since the early 1990s, but when Bob
Bell, founder of Banana Boat, acquired Sea & Ski from Danskin in March
1996, the brand adults remember from the 1950s went through some
changes.

Now, boasting nearly 50 SKUs, Sea & Ski has hit retailer shelves with
a new formula and advertising strategy to add to its department-store
quality packaging and middle-of-the-road price points.

Sea & Ski Acquired by Australian Firm.(Brief Article)
MMR
June, 2000

MIAMI -- Sea & Ski, a sun care brand with high name recognition but
little market share, has been acquired by an Australian company eager
to expand its presence in the United States. F.H. Faulding & Co., an
Australian pharmaceutical concern that has the license to the Banana
Boat sunscreen brand in Australia, New Zealand and parts of Asia,
reportedly does not plan to introduce Sea & Ski products in those
markets. Instead the company will seek to build up the brand in the
U.S., and will also use established Sea & Ski sales channels for other
products, ...
