Question ID: 738709
My email is downloading to MS Outlook 2003, but not showing up in the
Inbox or anywhere else that I know of. Where has it gone? And how do I
fix it so that it shows up in the Inbox? This started happening after
I replaced the hard drive in my laptop, and downloaded all my
applications and data from an outside backup service. All my backed-up
emails were properly restored to their individual folders under
Personal Folders. But since then, I can download new emails, and see
the number and mbs downloading, and completing the entire download,
but I cannot find where they are going to!! I will be satisfied if the
answer solves my problem, by the fixes provided, and I can find these
recently downloaded emails and continue in the future finding future
emails in the Inbox.

Hi gewirpa,

To see the message store files, paste this line in the Windows
Explorer address bar to open the folder:

%USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
http://www.slipstick.com/config/backup.htm

Another thought, do you have multiple profiles set up on the computer?

Let us know how that goes -
