Can you wash a calrod type heating element? Can you submerge it? Can
you put one in the dishwasher? My impression was that these types of
elements were sealed on the ends and it wouldn't be a problem to wash
them. What I am being told is quite different. If you can't do this to
most calrod's are there at least some that you can do this with?

( A calrod heating element is the type of element you would find on an
electric stove top that you can pull out, to get to the reflector
plate...for anyone who may not know that ;-) )
