Hello Simonr
I checked all the companies on your list and spoke to the relevant
sales departments. Here are the results. If you have some
qualifications or training in beauty treatments, you may be able to
get supplied off some of them but without any training or
qualification on the whole they were reluctant to supply.
Here are the results.

Suppliers of skin care products should be trained but we would

Summary
*******
I did this the long way around and found each of the companies through
Yell.com. I then telephoned each of the companies and checked the
addresses were the same for the sales department. Some sales
departments were at different addresses but not many.
I then asked them the questions did they supply direct which they all
did and also as you can see I asked whether they supplied or would
considered supplying to e-commerce retailers.
Some would consider it, if you wrote to them, but it would appear that
because these are chemicals, when it all boils down, most are
reluctant if not adamant that they wont supply to anyone who isnt
trained in the products.
I get the impression that this is to avoid any negligence issues
should someone untrained use their products to ill effect on someone.
I hope this helps.

Hiya
Firstly, I think you will find that most if not all of these companies
are not merely selling the products by way of e-commerce.
The first one for example, "escentual" is merely the online trading
name for Central Pharmacy, Perfumery & Beauty Studio
63-67 Wellfield Road, Cardiff CF24 3PA - this information is at the
bottom of their site.
The next Pharmacy2U, again the name indicates that there is a
pharmacist involved. Since these are chemical products, it is not
necessarily qualification as a beauty consultant that is the important
aspect but more likely a qualified pharmacist.
Also I have looked through each of the sites and they all appear to
have beauty salons and shops from which they supply from which the
internet site is just a branch. Your initial question was;
"will they sell to e-commerce retailers..."
As i advised in my answer, from my research it would appear that they
are reluctant to do so, but some will receive proposals and look at it
from there.
From speaking with each of the companies yesterday, they all have a
warehouse from which they supply goods directly saving money on a
middleman distributor company so they will be supplying the companies
that you have noted directly.
If the aim of your question is in finding information out to try and
set up an e-commerce business selling the suppliers goods on-line, the
best way would be to write individually to each of the companies
outlining your idea and see what suggestions and advice you receive
back.
After all, if you sell their goods for them as either a retailer or
agent, then they are going to try and be helpful since you will be
making money for them.
Does this clarify.
Please let me know if i can assist further.
