I am looking for a freeware that takes a list of addresses in the US as an input and return a map with marks/flags (possibly in different colors) for each of the addresses. |

The new beta maps at yahoo allow you to type a start address and a destination then another and another etc.... You could input your list and get back a map with all points labled and directions on how to drive from one to the next... or... Try http://www.batchgeocode.com/ which will allow you to input a tab delim list and have it come out on google maps or google earth. |
