Business models
I run at an international personal and professional development
programme for doctors, which consists of workshops were I teach
systems and procedures, and retreats where I conduct personal
development and leadership programmes. We sell DVD?s audio CDs,
manuals, teleconferencing, problem solving e-groups, telephone
consulting, mastermind groups etc.
People join the Program for one year at a time and after two to three
years are in position to be able to teach the systems and procedures.
I have advanced programs for these ?graduates? on strategic planning,
succession planning, marketing, leadership etc. Their main interest is
of course his or her professional practice. However, I desperately
need to enrol these ?graduates? to conduct seminars to teach the
systems and to act as mentors and coaches so that I can expend. I
would also like to involve them in the further development of the
programme.
I am looking for a successful business model that will allow me to
protect my intellectual property while bringing other teachers on and
expanding our business profitably. The model would need to include
things such as quality control, remuneration, incentives etc. I would
consider some form of franchising, partnership, licensing people to
use my material etc.
I have a great asset and I don?t want to give it away. I want them to
pay them for performance, not give them a salary. The better the
results and the numbers, the more they are worth. Any ideas would be
appreciated. |
