Hi. I am trying to add 3 capability.policy entries to Firefox preferences. I wrote a simple extension to add these three entries to prefs.js. The extension seems to install OK. But the entries don't show up in the prefs.js (using ChromEdit ext) at all. (note: by design, no capability preferences will show up about:config... you have to go edit the actual prefs.js). Bottom line is I am trying to help my users use my webapp (which requires these three entries), and installing an extension seems to be easiest way (I don't want the users to have to edit their own files manually) to do this. Ideas on how to get the extension to work, or what else to try? thx. |
