I have a list of several cute saying that I would like to put on T-
shirts and market to the public. Sort of like shirts you see at Wal
Mart and flea markets.

Three questions:

# 1. Can I clam ownership of a "saying" on a shirt?

# 2. What sort of profit margin can I expect from this business?

# 3. How would I go about marketing this business?

Regarding ownership of a saying, you may want to get a trademark.
