Hello everyone,

I need to find the approximate total number of invoices
(business-to-business only, no business-to-consumer) issued annually
either globally or by sector of activity in each country of Europe (25
countries) and in the world globally. The number I am looking for is
the actual number of documents issued, not their face value. The
sectors can be for example, the chemical industry, the textile
industry, the car industry, etc? But it can be more specific.

I have already done a lot of research but it is quite hard to find any
number. I have done a lot of research on many national statistics
website, on Google, on the National Bank of Belgium website but I have
never found a number. I have also contacted the economic, financial
and fiscal ministry of France and Belgium and talked with the
value-added tax administration of Belgium, but again it was not
successful.

The answer I need should be in an easily readable format (for example
a excel sheet).

Thanks for your help

I've been involved in accounting for over 20 years and have never
heard of any organization which collects this type of information,
much less publishes it. Sorry, but its doubtful you'll find an answer
to your question.
