According to the IRS web site, my tax refund was direct deposited to my bank account on 6/16/06. My bank has not received this deposit. According to the info on the website, I was to wait until today (6/23/06) to contact them again because "we are unable to take any action until then". I have been trying with no success to reach an actual person to initiate action to locate my refund. I am seeking a means, either online or via phone, to let the IRS know that this money has not been deposited in my account. | |

Send them a letter - certified / return receipt requested. Yeah, its nice to talk to someone but this is not an issue they can immediately resolve over the phone. Better to have the facts in writing in your words. Include a letter from the bank. |
