I am looking for a unified source to obtain the list of upcoming
events in the dallas fort worth area. I need sports events,
conventions, concerts, arts and car shows, charities, most any and all public
events of any size. I can get some from chamber of commerce, some from
hotels, some from sports arenas, but would like one unified source.
Surely there is a service that puts such lists together? I would like
to find an on line source, but will accept in printed form off line if
required. I have all the normal links, i.e., convnetion bureau,
visitors bureau, all are very incomplete.

I believe the Events service at Evite has just what you need.


Here's a link to 44 events in a 25-mile radius around Dallas, all
occuring between June 23 and July 7:

Both the geographic radius and the date range can be adjusted in the
search box on the left hand side of the page.


The list includes music, sports, charity events, nightlife, theater,
rodeo, and a bunch of other activities.

I trust this is just what you needed.  But if not, please let me know
in a bit more detail what you're after, and I'll do my best to track
it down.

thanks, sorry for delay in answering you, I wanted my assoc in charge
of this project to qualify the answer. This site has some, but not
most of the events on it. We have 6 sites so far in the area we've
located, those sites have over 100 events in this same period, many of
them are not on this site, like the Bass performance concerts, etc.
This site has some thatr arent listed in the 5 6 sites we have. It
appears that there just isnt a compiled source of info thats even
close to complete, they are all favor one "type" of event, ie
entertainment, vs conventions. Please let me know if you do find a
compiled site that seems to be even close to complete.

Is there any chance you could list here the six sites you've
identified.  By seeing the scope of events listed, it would help me in
searching for a single site that has most of those events.
