Greetings! I upgraded to Internet Explorer 7.0 Beta 2 version and now
can't get onto the web at home where I have a direcway satellite
system. They've been no help. I can ping just fine, so it's an IE
settings issue. The only suggestion they offered was imperfect (since
I travel 5 days/week and need easy access to alot of highspeed
internet configurations) and did not work anyway, which involved using
a proxy server address. THe Direcway guy was useless, claimed that
some folks had no trouble with IE 7.0 but others couldn't make it work
at all, but he didn't know why. I am running Windows XP Pro on a
tablet computer if that matters. An excellent response would tell me
what settings to use and why. Thanks in advance! Elaine
