According to the International Programs Center, U.S. Bureau of the Census, the total population of the World, projected to 06/24/06 at 00:39 GMT (EST+5) is 6,524,064,745. U.S. Census Bureau: World POPClock Projection http://www.census.gov/ipc/www/popclockworld.html My calculator says that 475,021,461 is a bit more than 7% of 6,524,064,745. If you'd like greater precision, it's 7.2810660158 percent. Hope this helps! Best, Pink |

Thank you Pink . . . actually I'm a little surprised at this percentage, which seems low to me. I would have guessed it was in the 10-15% range by now. *** |
