First things first, congratulations on buying a mac! They rock....I also have one (17" PowerBook G4) and also have a similar phone. What I would suggest you do is use the bluetooth (I am assuming u have bluetooth based on http://www.apple.com/macmini/whatsinside.html). Its easy to detect devices using ur mac so set ur phone to discoverable and set the mini mac off to detect devices. Failing that when you are next in Melbourne I'll xfer them for you for an extra 50 cents....LOL Regards, Adam |

If you have bluetooth on your Mac Mini, then just mount the phone via the Bluetooth File Exchange utility (in the Applications -> Utilities directory). You don't need the cable. You might also be interested in this thread: http://forums.macosxhints.com/archive/index.php/t-42651.html -welte-ga |

Hello. Sweet. I wish I could go to a Coldplay concert... But I digress. If you have OSX, then I believe you are in luck. I browsed the Apple site and found that the iSync application connects to Motorola phones via Bluetooth and/or USB. (http://www.apple.com/macosx/features/isync/devices.html) Please give that application a try and see if it works out for you. Rock on. |
