Frontpage 2003.

I changed the page size in Frontpage to 955 x 600 (1024 x 768,
Maximized). My screen resolution is 1280 x 768.

I have created a site with Top, Bottom, Left and Right Shared Borders.
In the Top and Bottom Shared Borders I have created a table at 100%
width and I us a small blue image 20 pixels high by 20 pixels wide as
it's background.

In the Left and Right Shared Borders I have a table that is 220 pixels
wide. I have buttons in there.
What I want is to have the width of my website exactly 1024 pixels
wide as this is screen resolution that most people use (1024 x 768).
This is so I can create content in the main window that I know will
look exactly the same in all browsers no matter what resolution they
have whether it's 1024 x 768 or higher.

To repeat what I said earlier, I set the page size in Frontpage to 955
x 600 (1024 x 768, Maximized)

I loaded the website in Internet Explorer and saw that the site filled
my screen resolution of 1280 x 768 instead of staying at 1024 pixels
wide.

In Frontpage, I changed the width of the Top and Bottom Shared Border
tables to 1024 pixels wide instead of 100%. I then changed my
resolution to 1024 x 768 and loaded the page in Internet Explorer and
it obviously looked fine.

I then loaded the page in Internet Explorer with my screen resolution
at 1280 x 768 and the top and bottom shared borders were still 1024
pixels wide but the right shared border was now hugging the Right side
of the screen instead of being in line with the right border of the
top and bottom shared borders.

This seems to be because you CAN NOT change the width of the main
window in Frontpage.

How can I change the width of the main window in Frontpage? I have
downloaded all updates for Office and Frontpage.
Do you know of any registry hacks that will solve this problem or
Javascript, etc that I can add to my site to make my site only load at
1024 pixels wide?

Setting the Right Margin does not help either as this space still
appears in any resolution. I have build the layout of my site and
this is the only problem stopping me from adding content. I don?t
mind if I have to start creating my site from scratch as long as I can
fix this problem. Please help!

It seems that if I don't add a Right Shared Border then i can set the
width of the top and bottom shared border tables to 1024 pixels wide.
The site then displays in exactly 1024 pixels wide and so looks the
same no matter what resolution your screen is. This is fine but I DO
want a Right Shared Border.
