Hello,
I need to know what are the differences between advertising and
marketing in western European countries (or western countries in
general) and central or eastern European countries.
A complete answer will show the differences between advertising and
marketing strategies aimed at the different publics with an
explanation of why these differences exist.
an example of such difference would be the preferred and more
effective media in each public (i.e. billboards, transit, TV, etc.)
A nice tip would be given for mentioning specific details about
Ukraine, Slovakia, Slovenia, Croatia and Serbia & Montenegro.
please ask for clarifications if needed.
Thanks. |

Hello yaloner-ga,
I'm usually interested in marketing questions but yours is too big and
too vague to attempt to answer.
You make the assumption that there are " differences between
advertising and marketing in western European countries (or western
countries in general) and central or eastern European countries." I
would be leery of having to prove an assumption like this since many
customers don't like answers that refute or dispute the their
assumptions.
You ask for information about "advertising and marketing strategies
aimed at the different publics with an explanation of why these
differences exist." This question is very vague to me. I don't know
what you're looking for. Which "publics" are you interested in? Are
there particular demographic groups that you're asking about?
"Advertising and marketing strategies" is an enormous topic.
Innumerable books, websites, research papers and university courses
address some aspect of these topics. I have no idea where to begin to
research your question.
You say, "an example of such difference would be the preferred and
more effective media in each public (i.e. billboards, transit, TV,
etc.)" I don't know what you're asking for in this query. What would
you like to learn about the media you listed? Again, how does this
relate to your interest in "each public"?
It would help tremendously if you explained the purpose of your
research. The more you can tell us about the context of your question,
the greater the likelihood that we can get you the information you
need.
Finally, I would post a separate question for each of the five
countries you've listed. That way several researchers could be working
on your question at the same time and you could at least get a partial
answer if information is only available for some (but not all) of your
target countries.
All the best.
