Hello again

Thanks for another puzzle!

This hangover cure is known as a 'prairie oyster'.

According to a discussion in the alt.usage.english newsgroup, the
Oxford English Dictionary quotes an article in the Spectator:

"1960 Spectator 25 Nov. 878 A Prairie Oyster, which is the raw yolk of
an egg slipped whole into a glass containing a tablespoon of Worcester
Sauce and a dash of sherry, with a flick of red pepper."

Sounds as if the cure would be worse than the hangover, but you'll
find many variations on the recipe like this one using port instead of
sherry:

Thanks for keeping us challenged with your puzzles (still tussling
with your question on Shrewsbury).
